Dear Sir/Madam
I did not find relevant catagory to post my query.
I was working in good company as a export manager.
But since I have to take care of family members for 2 months continuously, Ihave to leave the job. as company not willing to give me leave.
Now i want to do any online home based job, or part time job without affecting my present duty or leaving the home.
Can you suggest some available options.
Sad to hear about your family member and impressed to know that you are taking care of them.

poor people work for money but rich have money work for them.what does that mean?
hello !
this means that…..the diff. b/w two kind of people is that the person(poor people) who earns by spending his life is like u r generating only working capital money (earn=spends) but the another people(rich people) earns , invest+(earn+reinvest) then spend it means that ur earnings is also earning for you this means that money make more money for you even in your physical absence….

Hello Team,
I need guidance on the following posted on your blog.
What is VPF?
“from contributing the normal 12% of his basic pay, employee may choose to put in contribute more than this, voluntarily he can do so at any rate he desires upto 100% of basic and D.A.”
Is the above permissible under PF Act? Can you pl. guide with the section and how to proceed with the above w.r.t. Gujarat State. The same is required since I am interested in VPF.
Thanks for your interest Mahesh.
Details about VPF are in the article Voluntary Provident Fund, Difference between EPF and PPF
If you have EPF or GPF then increasing the contribution voluntarily will work.
As I am not aware of Gujarat state Govt. laws I cannot add more than this.
Hello Administrator,
Thanks for sharing the article. I was talking to a friend in HR, who mentioned to me that in VPF you can contribute upto 12% of your basic apart from Statutory contribution of 12% by you & employer.
eg. My basic is Rs. 10,000/- hence 12% of self becomes 1200/- and additional upto 12% will total to 2400/-. Based on the inputs in your article, it suggests that I can contribute 100% i.e. full 10,000/- in PF.
My query is whether contributing this total 10,000/- is allowed under the PF act? Can you pl. guide me in this regard as I need to understand this to take steps accordingly. Thanks for bearing.
Quoting From EPF website
24) What is the voluntary rate of Provident Fund contribution by the member?
As per the Act, the member has to contribute at the rate of 10% or 12% of his basic pay, D.A. & retaining allowance if any. In case the member wants to contribute more than this, voluntarily he can do so at any rate he desires. i.e. upto 100% of basic and D.A. But the employer is not bound to contribute at the enhanced rate.
As mentioned earlier Details about VPF are in the article Voluntary Provident Fund, Difference between EPF and PPF
Yes Rs 10,000 should be allowed under the PF act.
